A mistake I made in desmos in math class is that I was graphing my data for my rocket and when it came to the letter e I used it, but until the due date came for number 14# I realized on my paper there was no e value. So to fix this problem Jade told us whoever had the e in their equation to change it to another letter otherwise it was going to mean something else in the graph. So I learned sometimes careful of the letters when graphing or watch out for letter e so I changed it to the letter i. So to remember not to use the letter e when graphing my rocket data I will notice the values and see if its their and if there is one missing value then I know something is wrong.
The first mistake I made as a music person in math class is creating a music pass because I thought it would be creative to do a music pass like itunes card, but later then I realized that printing would waste money and paper. So to fix this problem I will have the people who bought a music pass return it so other people can use it or not use it. To also fix this problem I could instead of printing it on 8x11 paper print it on note cards or index to save paper and people still get a music pass.Mistake I made in math class is when I was doing my assignment number 10 which was my presentation. During my presentation for math class my presentation was about Natural log and as I was explaining I couldn't explain how an example of Natural log work and that is my mistake. I should have done more research about the example and then I would be able to explain, but there were so many variables and properties and I still not even after looking at the definition could I even understand Natural log. My mistake is I couldn't explain something I had in my presentation and that is not very good when having a presentation and I'm using this as a reminder for future presentations because I will look back at my work at the end of the semester for pol week and make sure I will be able to explain.
A mistake I made in math class is on #7 Scientific Notation we have to find the perihelion and aphelion for all 8 planets and we have to put the answer into scientific notation and that wasn't the hard part, but the mistake I always make with large numbers is with zeros. So when I'm doing the equation for scientific notation which is a decimal times ten to the power of something I do the equation and I get the answer, but I don't know where to put the commas so that way it shows its 3 million or 5 million or something. So in order for me to fix this problem I do the math problem on my calculator and when I get the answer it lays it our for me so now I know where to put the commas and write out the number correctly.
I learned something in the third week of high school for math class. I can't be late with my papers for math other wise I get very low points you see in math class how we are graded is we have this rubric and it's a check list that says "have a unique title?" etc. So in math class we worked on two problems Snake on a plane and Paper clip problem. Both I somewhat didn't do because I got 3 points on snake on a plane and 4 points on Paperclip problem. While I'm fine with Paperclip problem I'm stuck with a D on snake on a plane.
The reason is because I rushed it I forgot about snake on a plane and that's a mistake I made, but now I am willing to go back fix it put more thinking and thoughts into it so it becomes high quality work as a highschooler. In math class each table as a group had to figure how many triangles are in this picture. From my point of view I saw 10. I counted the ones I can see with my eye or at least the ones that are really easy to spot.
After I talked with my table the correct answer was 13 and it made sense because Alex told me that the 3 triangles make one and there was three pairs of it which makes 13. How I grew is a interesting skill that I may need for life and that I like to call it a perspective view. In any situation you need to look at it any angle you can say if your building a bridge you have to look at it any angle whether you had supports here or not. |
